For six years I was a student and staff member at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado - the first Buddhist-inspired University in the world.

Naropa has a mission that is unique among America’s institutions of higher learning: We are the only school in the country that grounds the student experience in contemplative education principles. Through rigorous academics, contemplative practice, and experiential learning, we look to prepare people with knowledge, wisdom, and skills so they can “be the change” in their workplaces and communities, and live joyous, meaningful lives.

In 2013 I created the Words and Wisdom Podcast – Where Intellect Meets Intuition at Naropa.

The purpose of the “Words & Wisdom” podcast is to provide a virtual space for people to learn more about and participate more fully in the Naropa community, as well as to hold critical, respectful, and authentic discussions about issues related to Naropa and contemplative education in general. This podcast was born out of the support and interest of the Naropa community.

From 2016-17 I served Naropa as a Relationship Office in the Development Office.

One of the most transformative learning experiences I encountered at Naropa was the three-month Authentic Leadership Program at the Authenic Leadership Ship Center. The ACL dedicates itself to providing programs for integrating contemplative leadership into professional life.
